Spring is Finally in the air and Product of the Year, the world’s largest consumer-voted award for product innovation is here to help you welcome it. Established 30 years ago in France, Product of the Year currently operates in 37 countries and operate under the same goal of guiding consumers to best products in their market and reward manufacturers for quality and innovation.

That’s what I love about POY (as it’s also known by). It give me (and YOU) the opportunity to try products that will have a place in my home. Meaning, that products that I know I’m gonna use. There have been so many times I’ve looked in cupboards or under my bathroom sink and see products covered in dust because they didn’t work too well, or that I have to combine with others to help it work better than the company promised. With POY I don’t have to worry about that because these products were carefully selected and awarded for being a leader in their area.

Now that spring is here and everyone is spring cleaning NOW is the time to take a look at the winners of this year’s POY so you can clean out your home of the stuff you’re not using so you can make way for products you will be using.

Check out what I got… (I have them broken down by category)

Okay that Sara Lee bread is delicious! I made french toast with it and it melted in my mouth. So yummy.  Yeah my bread is a little extra brown I like it like that. I paired it with the Del Monte Refresher fruit and it made my first morning of not having to wear a coat complete.

As many of you know, I am obsessed with tea. So a mug of hot tea with a couple of Splenda’s warmed me from the inside out. I like this tea cause it helps my immunity. I wasn’t feeling good a last week and I drank this instead of theraflu and I felt better in no time. You the real MVP Tetley. I’ve never tried Splenda before, and I actually like it. I don’t even use cane sugar any more. Just two Splenda in my tea and I’m good to do. Who woulda thought I’d get tpo a point in my life where I wouldn’t miss sugar.  Trust me, you won’t miss it either.

Now on to skin and body care . Now that the weather is nice out these Gel Activ inserts by Amope are perfect for my sneakers with all the walking I’m gonna be doing. The SweetSpot wipes and gentle wash (for women by women) are awesome!  They will help get you feeling fresh as a daisy! The Kleenex exfoliating cushions are da bomb!! I don’t wear make up often, but when I do I make sure I use these to get all the makeup out of my pores, as well as other dirt that lingers. Carmex has been keeping my lips super soft.

With Spring comes sickness. Mucinex is here to relieve you of your cold and congestion. I took the Cold-Flu and Sore Throat. It hooked me up. BIG time! Eye drops by Clear eyes are everyone’s lifesaver during the spring time. My eyes get very dry and they hurt. I usually just push through it and blink a thousand times. But now when they get dry I can put a few drops in my eyes to soothe it. The Centrum vitamins are one of the most important things in the box. Me and Jeff are always hounding the kids to take their vitamins and we take nothing. Hypocrites much? So When I saw these in the box I slammed them down on the table and gave him a nod that we will be practicing what we preach.

Tide and Snuggle have my laundry smelling amazing! The scent of Snuggle is a little strong in the box but once you get it in the dryer and the scent in your clothes holyeeee cow!!! You and your clothes are in for a real treat. I use Tide in my house already so it was a nice treat to try some new products by them. I can’t say which one I liked more over the other. It’s Tide. Regardless of which one you choose you’re clothes will be spotless!

When you have kids it seems you have twice the germs. Anything Lysol works for me cause I know shit is getting cleaned when I use it. Toilet bowl cleaners will keep the commode fresh and cleaner longer. The Charmin is like a little rolled pillow. Perfect for it’s intended use or to wipe tears from the face of a child who refuses to go to sleep.

product of the year

Snack food! Yall know I love my food!  I’m savoring those Werther’s by not trying to eat them all at once. I’m not telling you how few I have left. But I’m gonna say its not enough for me to share. The kids loved the white Cheddar Puffs and my mom loved the pecan Russell Stover chocolates. I’m not a nut person but she is, and she yummed her way through each bite!
