How many children do you have? 1
What are your favorite hobbies? Reading and running, now if I could figure out a way to combine them.
When was the last time you had mommy me time and/or couple time and how did you spend it? Once a week we try to carve out some alone time. We usually watch a movie and have dinner, even if we don’t go out it’s just nice to be together.
How do you balance everything in your life so that you can have a little alone time? The time between when my daughter goes to sleep and when I go to sleep is officially “mommy me” time. I use it to catch up on my work as well as my reading. During the summer I even go for a run.
If you could spend 24 hours alone how would you spend it? I want to say getting organized, working out, but I’d probably sleep for as long as I could LOL.
What is your family’s favorite fun time activity? Dancing! My daughter LOVES music and wants to dance all the time so I get up and join her. It’s really fun and kind of a stress reliever at the end of the day.
What advice would you give a mom who is struggling to find that slice of mommy me time? Be patient with yourself. It’s tough when you have children to find time for yourself, but it’s important. Every day I set a goal to do one thing for me, even if it’s only for 15 minutes. That time is my peace, and every mommy deserves a little piece.
Thank you Caprece for sharing your interests with us! I see you’re a fellow book lover as well. I wish I could read as much now as I did prior to kids. Well, I do read now, they’re just not my favorite legal thriller authors, its Cinderella. LOL! Now when it comes to running I am at a loss. You would think it should be easy for someone to pick up and run but I can’t. I get painfully winded very easily. So unless its 1 minute til last call for breakfast at McDonald’s or I’m being chased by Jason I will avoid running.
This is the part where I say, if you would like to be featured please contact me. But, due to an overwhelming response to this series I have closed the submissions for the time being. I will be accepting submissions starting in the spring.
